China Center to Host Event during Climate Week NYC
China Center has joined the Climate Group to become a partner of the Climate Week NYC event, which will take place from September 19-26, 2011.
Climate Week NYC is an annual summit with high-level meetings between the world’s leading businesses and governments and an exciting array of public-facing events, all focused on driving a ‘clean industrial revolution’.
China Center is thrilled to be part of this important event, and to join the international businesses, governments, non-profit organizations, and opinion-leaders to call for urgent action against climate change. China Center champions green development efforts of Chinese companies by committing to LEED platinum outfit of its leased space in One World Trade Center.
During Climate Week, China Center will host a luncheon and panel discussion on “Low Carbon Opportunities in China” on September 19, 2011. This panel brings business and government leaders from China and the U.S. to exchange ideas for meeting the twin objectives of economic development and carbon reduction. It also aims to generate new ideas and products from the finance sector and technology industry to boost the carbon reduction in China’s infrastructural boom. The panel can help global audience further understand what China is doing today in low carbon development and the opportunities to explore possible solutions and collaborations.
